DC Plan Growth & Leakage

The retirement plans market has matured, but the pool of employer sponsored retirement plan assets - including DC, DB & under reported nonprofit plans - is huge and it will remain huge. Citing automatic enrollment and the whiff of a recovery, some will not agree, but retirement plan asset growth will not be driven by plan formations, conversions, coverage, participation or contributions in the future. Growth will be driven by market returns and the re-allocation of assets to Target Date Funds.
