More than 1,000 retirement plan specialists will attend the CFDD's 2008 Advisor Conference, an all business event designed to help retirement plan advisors learn, adapt, identify growth trends, distinguish their value and network with the industry’s elite. The advisor-centric conference will also help advisors increase professionalism, improve efficiency, reduce liability and reconcile the challenges faced by ERISA consultants when pursuing participant level business.

The two and one-half day content rich program was designed by the CFDD's advisor network. The bottom-up agenda consists of more than fifty different sessions. Over 100 industry experts will participate, including fifty accomplished advisors. The agenda is fresh, populated by a "Who's Who In The Industry" and forecasts the direction of the retirement plans market.

The interactive agenda will raise the bar on conference education and provide valuable takeaways that can be applied quickly and have a measurable impact. To maintain focus, avoid overlap, ensure new content, case studies and preclude commercials, the CFDD plays an active role in content management.

Major changes are ahead and advisors would be wise to re-think their practice strategy, but specialization and retirement plans remain central to growth. The content rich agenda will provide advanced sessions for specialists, help other intermediaries develop retirement plans business and open the door to wealth management opportunities. The pre-conference training will also show wholesalers how to increase productivity and help TPAs & RIAs develop new business relationships.

In addition to a strong agenda, pre-conference training, a charity golf event (proceeds to the Injured Marine Semper Fi Fund) and a major kick-off party, registrants benefit from expanded networking time, CE credits, complimentary breakfast/lunch/cocktail receptions and numerous vendor invitations.

Advisors work hard all year and the conference's educational content will require registrants to remain focused. To bridge the gap and create a fun networking atmosphere, the Kick-Off/Charity Golf Awards Party will feature a biker theme. Authentic his & hers H-D leather MotorClothes will be awarded to the best biker-attired individuals during the party. The grand prize, a 105th Anniversary Edition Harley-Davidson motorcycle, and other valuable raffle prizes will be awarded at the concluding event.

The CFDD's conferences sell out early. More accomplished retirement advisors attend our conference than any other event and our ratio of advisors to registrants is unmatched.
